Community Garden Centre

 

Sale Neighbourhood Houses’ Community Garden Centre provides an opportunity to Sale and surrounds, with a focus on community connectedness, lifelong learning, sharing, and an increase of social skills and networking abilities.

Our Garden Centre provides various seasonal fruit and vegetables when available for community members to help themselves to – in addition to propagated plants available at a reasonable price. Our garden is also open to seed exchange and is managed and maintained by community members who show leadership with their skills and knowledge.

Emergency Relief

 

We offer emergency relief to the local Corner Inlet community. If you need assistance, come in to see us during office hours or call us on (03) 5682 1101.

New client registrations only on Tuesdays or by appointment.

Food Relief Services

 

(frozen meals & extra relief)

Thanks to organisations such as FareShare and Uniting Gippsland we are able to offer assistance in the way of grocery items and frozen meals.

This is by appointment only and from Tuesday to Friday.

Milpara’s Emergency Foodbank

 

Monday , Tuesday & Friday 10 am – 3 pm (During school holiday: Tue, Wed & Thur 10 – 1pm. )

Assistance is available to everyone who seeks it with no age, gender, disability, ethnic or religious discrimination.

Assistance is free, respectful and confidential.

We aim to provide a safe, supportive environment for the provision of emergency relief. Please bring your bags. Donations are the life blood of the foodbank.

We accept with great appreciation non-perishable items and surplus home grown fruit & vegetables.

Phil Dixon Emergency Food Relief Pantry

 

Emergency food relief for anybody living in our community.

The Pantry is coordinated by volunteers and relies on donations from local stores such as Aldi, Coles and Food Bank Victoria to support the program.

We also receive donations from some of our fabulous local residents and businesses.
