We offer emergency relief to the local community. If you need assistance, come in to see us during office hours or call us on (03) 5682 1101 if you require a home delivery.

New client registrations only on Tuesdays or by appointment.

Food Relief Services

 

(frozen meals & extra relief)

Thanks to organisations such as FareShare and Uniting Gippsland we are able to offer assistance in the way of grocery items and frozen meals.

This is by appointment only and from Tuesday to Friday.

Milpara’s Emergency Foodbank

 

Monday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm (During school holiday: Tue, Wed & Thur 10 – 1pm. )

Assistance is available to everyone who seeks it with no age, gender, disability, ethnic or religious discrimination.

Assistance is free, respectful and confidential.

We aim to provide a safe, supportive environment for the provision of emergency relief. Please bring your bags.Donations are the life blood of the foodbank.

We accept with great appreciation non-perishable items and surplus home grown fruit & vegetables.

Phil Dixon Emergency Food Relief Pantry

 

Emergency food relief for anybody living in our community.

The Pantry is coordinated by volunteers and relies on donations from local stores such as Aldi, Coles and Food Bank Victoria to support the program.

We also receive donations from some of our fabulous local residents and businesses.

Community Pantry

 

Our Community Pantry or Free Food Shelf is there to help community members feed themselves and their family. Lots of families and individuals are doing it tough and sometimes need a little hand. Our Free Food Shelf is kindly supported by our fabulous community and our volunteers.

If you have some spare non­ perishable items in your pantry, or you buy a couple of extra cans of beans, please feel free to drop them off.

Our Food bank shopping days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am – 2pm.

* No appointment required.

*BYO reusable shopping bags.

* We have limited assorted groceries

* If you are shopping for a family will ask to sight something that indicates to us that you are shopping for more than 1 person eg: could be a Medicare card or something else with family names on it.

Unvaccinated Friends You can book a pre packed parcel for pick on Friday’s between 12pm – 2pm only. You must register to book a parcel by calling us on 5134 5488. That way we can take your details over the phone allowing you to pick up only during the 2 hour window. You must be wearing a mask unless you have an exemption.

Foodbank will be closed on Public Holidays.

Marley Street Community Hub is proud to support the local community with Foodbank services for anyone who is in need.

No referral is required, just attend at the Hub in person.

To ensure equity and fairness for all, access is limited to every fortnight.

There is no charge for Foodbank, however, if you can give a donation, this helps to replenish our pantry.

Monday to Thursday 9.30 am – 3 pm
