Youth Space

 

Drop in Youth Space hosted by Gippsland Youth.

A welcoming, inclusive space for young people to attend and participate in a range of activities.

Gippsland Youth staff will provide support by referring young people into relevant support services in required as well as providing a safe space for positive social interactions for young people aged 12-25, allowing them to express their creativity, celebrate diversity, or find a safe space to just be themselves.

Wurruk Youth Program

 

Activities for young people in an after school session including street games, skating, art, circus arts, excursions, barefoot bowls.

Our Place Youth Group

 

Youth space for ages 11+

At Our Place you will be warmly welcomed to come and relax in a safe and respectful environment. Hot dinner is provided. Activities may include art, music, craft and local projects. Transport home can be arranged—please book ahead.

Playgroup

 

Parents bring the little ones along for some social interraction, arts and craft as well as fun and games.

Each parent brings a snack to share with the group.

Each week, Janine our Early childhood Facilitator, will provide fun activities for you and your child to enjoy together. The SmallTalk’ program also includes information on children’s development and learning stages.

Sensory Fun For Pre-Schoolers

 

This is a great opportunity for you to get out of the house and spend some quality time with your child having fun together, singing, dancing, reading, doing messy play, or completing a craft activity at Leongatha Community House.

If the weather is nice, we will hold these sessions in our backyard so make sure you have a sunhat.

Bring some morning tea to enjoy afterwards.
