The Bass Valley Community Centre is a Neighbourhood House with a major focus on supporting older persons (over 65 years) and adults living with disabilities.

To this end we run a social support program on Mondays and Wednesdays and a Shopping Bus on Tuesdays. Along with our support from the State and Commonwealth Governments for our programs, we also fundraise through our Hadden House Opportunity Shop. This latter enterprise is staffed by a wonderful team of volunteers from our community. We are a historic site with a heritage overlay, being originally  the area school and the site where George Bass arrived in 1798, after rowing with his crew from Sydney.
