Manna Gum Community Lounge

The Community Lounge is a welcoming place for all members of the community. Enjoy a hot drink and a complimentary homemade sweet treat. You can meet with friends or have a chat to our friendly volunteers.

There is a selection of upcycled and handmade items including preserves made from local produce, handmade crafts, clothing, gift hampers and pamper products. Most of the retail items are produced by volunteers to support our social enterprise.

There is also a free book exchange, and outdoor seating in a large child-friendly backyard with a cubby and sandpit. Dogs are welcome on a lead.

On Tuesdays we have gourmet toasties available in spring and summer, and hot soup in autumn and winter for a $4 donation.

Who Gives a Crap toilet paper, paper towel and tissues available by the box or per item.

The Lounge is staffed entirely by volunteers and all proceeds support Manna Gum’s community services and programs.

Open Monday & Tuesday (10am – 2pm), and Saturdays (9.30am – 1pm).

Free Wi-Fi available.

Community Recycling Enterprise (Venus Bay)

Our aim is to provide an alternative to taking goods out of our community, or even worse, throwing them out. We recycle & redistribute preloved clothing, books, some furniture and lots of bits and pieces. All proceeds from the op-shop go towards the other programs The Centre is able to offer. This service can only operate with the support of our volunteers and with the generous donation of goods.

Hidden House Op Shoppe (Bass Valley)

The wonderful multi-roomed Hadden House Op Shoppe is one of the buildings situated on a half hectare community site and offers plenty of off-street parking. Our grounds adjoin Bass Park which is also adjacent to the Bass General Store. The famous and Historic Bass Park (commemorating the approximate landing site of George Bass) offers a free under cover bbq, tables and swings for the kids.

The VRI (Traralgon)

The VRI is a creative community space in Latrobe Valley.

The project is a partnership between Traralgon Neighbourhood Learning House Inc. and ReActivate Latrobe Valley Ltd.
